Met on arrival at the Mahe Airport Seychelles and transferred to your Beach Resort, where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis. Upon arrival at the Resort, you will be briefed on the rest of your Tour programme. 

 

Breakfast and at 08:30 hrs commence a Full Day tour of Mahe Island.

The tour begins with a transfer from the hotel for a stop in the colonial centre of "the world's smallest capital", Victoria. Highlights to visit are the court buildings, museum, post office, Clock-tower [twin of the one outside London's Victoria Station]. A turn around the corner takes one to the 'Codevar' building where local crafts, including the renowned Kreol Or [Creole Gold] are on sale. A walk across Albert Street leads one to the focal point of the town, its colourful market where stalls of fresh fish, tropical fruits & vegetables, herbs & spices, are displayed in an abundance of fragrances. This is followed by a drive across the Sans Soucis mountain pass, with a photo stop at the historical Mission Lodge, en-route to a Creole restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the tour continues around the southern tip of the island to the restored colonial plantation of 'Jardin du Roi', which is steeped in the short history of the Creoles as well as the Georges family, whose family tree apparently carries a link to Louis XVII of France. A cold drink of home-grown fruit welcomes visitors, before they tour the surrounding plantation of vegetables, exotic fruits, herbs and spices. The rest of the afternoon is for relaxation, with a stop at the Craft Village on the way back to the hotel, at around 16:00hr.

 

In the late afternoon hours, you will be dropped off at the Resort, where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis.

Trek up to a 360 degree panoramic view of Seychelles most breath taking sceneries. Granite boulders, thick tree canopies and refined white sand seem to have been carefully sculptured to create this perfect picturesque finish. The symbioses of all Nature’s assets make Anse Major a priceless site. After beating the odds of the hike, Odezir will take you out to sea where your gaze will continue to admire beauty that can only be found in Seychelles. You will then hop onto the dingy to board the catamaran and set sail to Baie Ternay Marine Park, to enjoy a BBQ lunch.

For those who prefer walking via Anse Major: Pick‐up from hotels & transfer to Danzilles, Bel Ombre; Depart from La Scala Restaurant; Leisurely guided hike to Anse Major with photo stops along the way; Arrive at Anse Major for a cooling short swim before hopping on-board Odezir catamaran to sail to Baie Ternay Marine Park

 

For those who prefer cruising rather than walking: Pick‐up from hotels & transfer to Creole Marina; Depart from Creole Marina; Leisurely cruise towards the north along the coast of Beau Vallon; Arrive at Anse Major

 

For all clients: Embarkation on board Odezir catamaran; Set sail to Anse Diri / Baie Ternay Marine Park; Arrive at Baie Ternay Marine Park for snorkelling & swimming; BBQ Lunch is served on-board; Afternoon at leisure for relaxing, swimming and snorkelling.

 

At 17:00 hrs, you will be dropped off at the Resort, where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis.
